MEC 1st Meeting 2015/2016

After held MEC 'Welcome Meeting' in terms of 2015/2016 last saturday MEC held MECs second meeting, and we called this as MEC 1st Meeting 2015/2016.

In this very 1st regular meeting all members so excited to face the class. As usual,MEC have Meeting Format, they are :

1. Opening Section

2. Awesome Section

3. Closing Section


Start from the very 1st Opening Section. In this opening section, the Meeting Master called Irma Melati to opening the class with read visions and missions of the club clearly. The meeting master of the class is the president of MEC.

Next, go to Ice Breaking section, yeayy, we got this to make something funny before we go to the main part. Ice Breaking Master of the day is our Vice President, Ganda Situmorang. He called this section as 'Sketch and Describe', so what this is?.

 

Here is the detail,  all members separated to some group and each groups consist of 4 to 6 persons, then each group discuss their idea related to the theme of the games. After discussing the topics all of members sketch their picture in white board and another group guess what pictures it is. If they can guess the kind of picture they must describe the details. Pretty Good Guys!.

 

After all this Ice Breaking section, it's the time to Say Hello to each others because this is the first time for all new members to meet with all MECs society. All members fill the form that contain some questions related to introductions terms. We've spend 10 minutes in this section.

Moving on to the awesome section, we were talk about 'IMPROMPTU SPEAKING'. What is Impromptu Speaking?. is a speech and debate individual event that involves a five to eight minute speech with a characteristically short preparation time of one to three minutes.So to make it real, some members did practice for the 1st time. Practice makes perfect and all members shows that. We had four topics in this case, they are:
- If I were an animal I'd be a...
-Which part of your body that you loved? (why?).
-If you could meet any living celebrity, who would it be? (why?)
-Describe a profession without naming it.
-Describe the most ridiculous thing you ever did.

bla bla bla we closed this section pretty well.

 

Finally we were in closing section, as usual we had 2 parts right here, there Vocabulary of the Day (Skint, means having no money available) and Quote of the Day ("Speak Low, If You Speak Love), hahahaha unfortunately the president issue this quote but she didn't even understand the meanings *lol*.

The same thing came to all members too, nobody knows :D So let see the next week.
