A Journey To International Education Expo - Jun

As the first time for MEC to get Exploring  event , it was the first time too for me to go to the international education expo at cambridge city hall. So here  i’ll tell the story while we went there.

The way we take to get the places is by using  angkot, it’s something we’ve planned before. It’s not make me interest but there is something that we call with the challenge is interest me. The challenge i mean is while we’re on the way to geting that place we have to talk to each other member with english, How you think that, in the angkot we must talk with english and the others take a look on us, hmmm..it’s a funny thing and also great  for me as you know it was my first time.

The story while we’re inside of  the event, we must fill registration form that the official prepare before for everyone who want to joining the event firstly.  One funny thing makes us  being like a child is, when we see one beautiful girl in the queue for registration. In that time we made another challenge. Whoever between us whom have a bravery to approach her is a gentleman.  Actually i won’t did it cause i haven’t  a confident to do it, event i like to enjoyed her beautifull face. Something that suprise me and my friend budi is, our president taking a time to talk with her when he get the good opportunities and he won’t miss it. It has been a lesson i take from our president that day.

Back to the event, we aren’t forget to assemble the information we want about how to applying, and what we have to prepare if we want to take an education in other country. It’s good i think, cause by this event many people like me was getting the important information about study abroad, but there’s  something  makes me unenjoyed the event,  some information i hope to get it’s nothing there. The information i mean is about the scholarship. The institution which open the helpdesk information is just spread the information about  how’s life there, what to take, what we need to pass the administration test and others like that. So it makes me feel  little bit disappointed.

After all of what we done there,  we decided  to finishing  our activity and getting back to the campus.  On the way to getting back, we still must using english as the way to communicate with the others, even it’s hard for me but i still try to using it. Some lesson i’ve learn in that day is when you learn something, it’ll be better if you use it or do it cause by doing it, you’ll be learned automaticly.
The another lesson i’ve learn is do not fear to express yourself in front of many people around you, cause when you fear about that you won’t learn.

In the end, everything we do in MEC Explore event  in that day is happily and also amazing for us.
