A Journey To International Education Expo - Budi

For our first MEC Explore at 18th January 2014, we decided to went to the international education expo at SwissBell Hotel and we went by public transport that’s called Angkot. The reason why we used that transport because we want to tried to enjoyed our trip. Beside that, we could did a practice of english speaking in our trip.

    Before we went to that place, we agreed to gathered on campus, so we could go together and of course we prayed together too for a smoothness of our activities. On the way to our destination, we chatted about anything such as “do us ever get caught by police while driving ?” or “do us have any solution for a traffic jam ?”, for the second discuss I’ve told my idea that is a people have to get a limited of a vehicle’s purchased, because too many cars and motor – cycles that people have. In my mind, I’ve a question that is why government not increasing the tax of vehicles, so people have to think twice to buy some vehicles.
Another interested things we’ve got is we always tried to speak English in anyplace, at anytime so that’s attracted a attention of the people who’s heard us. Some people even always looked at us, maybe they’re think we’re like a some weird adults but really, it just only for practices. With that way, we could trained our ability to speech.

    When we’ve got arrived to SwissBell Hotel, we’ve directly toward to that international education expo where is on the 25th floor. After that, we had to registered so we’ve got a goodybag which in it there is a books about the procedure of study overseas, kind of colleges that availabled and something like that.
    After that, we’ve tried to get information by asked to someone who is a envoy of each the colleges. So, we asked him how we can study overseas, what we’ve to prepared, what majors we can to choose, any option for us to get a lodging and many more. So many things that we’ve get from there, especially for me because I’ve get some motivation that make me desire to study overseas.

    At a 5.30 pm, we went back to campus by angkot too. On our way, we’re talked about some competition that our president of MEC has joined up and he told all about that competition. He was suggested to us to try registering ourself to that competition, and he was told in the competition is requires a skill english, especially in public speaking.

    Overall, I felt those trip was useful for myself. I feel being motivated to reach my goals and of course, my abilty of speaking has improved because that trip and last but not least, i was glad to got that goodybag too.
